China Telecom plans to first launch overseas wireless service in the United Kingdom and then expands the service to France and Germany, according to a January 5, 2012 report by Bloomberg. The service, targeting at Chinese residents in Europe, is slated for release by the end of March 2012 in the United Kingdom. If the UK service is successful, China Telecom said it will expand the service to France and Germany. It is reported that the UK service will be run on Everything Everywhere's network.
